c. Two views
1. Bottom up: The obedience of faith (ὑπακοὴν πίστεως, Rom. 1:5; 16:26)

A
  1. We should have active obedience in our faith like Abraham
  2. We should have passive obedience in our faith like Isaac
  3. trusting that God will work all things together for our good
  4. leveling up requires an actual exercise of our faith not potential obedience. (Analogy of weights; i may potentially be able to lift that hundred lbs, but if I dont i wont be strengthened to next time lift 105lbs weights)
