Is the system in the body that collects wastes produced by cells and removes the wastes from the body.
Excretion
The removal process.
Kidney’s
Filters the urea and other wastes from the blood.
Urea
Is a chemical that comes from the breakdown of proteins.
Nephron
Tiny filtering factories that remove wastes from blood and produce urine.
Ureter
Two tubes that carry the Urine from the kidneys to urinary Bladder.
Bladder
A sack-like muscular organ that stores urine.
Urine
Watery fluid that contains urea, water and other miscellaneous wastes.
Urethra
Urine leaves the body through a small tube.
Skin
Eliminate excess water and urea through the sweat glands. Excreted through perspiration.
Lungs
When exhale we are eliminating carbon dioxide and water.
Liver
The liver is what breaks down the proteins into Urea the waste that our body then needs to get rid of.
