- Lack of ambition for africa
- The new leaders were selfish and did not care about other countries
- Hardly any African present that speaks for all africans that people will listen to.
- Countries that were colonized by France
- The French tell them what to do at every united African meeting
- Younger generations of africans are saying NO to NEO-COLONIALISM
Non-payment of Membership dues - For any organization to operate they need money
- Some countries did not pay their dues

- One leader of the organization devised a system that allowed each country to only pay 0.1% to the organization and it will fuel it

All countries coming together
- It will be difficult for all countries to come together at the same time so they formed regional blocks
- You have to get a visa to go to another country within Africa , so they are trying to come to a solution by using these regional blocks
