Ardipithecus Ramidus (ARDI) ON TEST

A

A descendent of A. Kaddaba, who was definitely a hominid. They were home in East Africa, and the members of this species were able to engage in straight limbed tree-walking. They walked upright into the savanna , increasing their adaptability esp, during dry periods when the rain forests sank.

A

(Proto hominin) the evolutionary line between the humans and apes, they have found about 300 fossils. They are BIPEDAL, found in Africa

Pre-Australopithecus(ardi) pre walkers, probably moved from the rain forests to the Savannah.

Definitely cared for the sick or disabled, had languages, made art, capable of abstract thought (jewelry and concepts of beauty, burial of the dead) interbreed with the Homo Saipan’s
