Evaluation/analysis of conditioned games Flashcards
Explain why you used conditioned games - practical
I used conditioned games because they required no specialist equipment and were easy to set up. This meant I maximised the time I had to develop my social performances during training and lost no time setting anything up.’
Explain why you used conditioned games - involvement
I used conditioned games because they gave every player playing the opportunity to be involved. This meant that all players were forced to work on x. As such we all improved our ability in x.
Explain why you used conditioned games - whole performance.
I used conditioned games because they developed my whole performance alongside my x skills. This meant that my skill level and tactical understanding improved alongside my social skills which lead to me giving strong performances.’
Explain why you used conditioned games - feedback
I used conditioned games since the coach was able to focus on only the one aspect of my performance. This meant that they were able to focus and evaluate our performance and give us accurate feedback on what was good and what needed improving.
Analyse conditioned games - similar ability
‘It is important that the two teams consist of players of similar ability. This is because the game would be technically fair meaning that players are likely to give their all in games and not become disheartened which will lead to them working harder and x more in a bid to develop their x performance.’
Analyse conditioned games - captain
‘It is important that the team captain fully engages in the approach. This is because they already have good x skills which can set a high standard for others to follow meaning that they can incorporate the strengths of their captains performance to boost their own x performance.’
Analyse conditioned games - time limit
‘It is important to consider the time limit set x. This is because if the time was too low it could mean performers do not get much of an opportunity to develop their x skills whilst if it was too high then people may get bored and loose motivation as such they won’t try as hard and not get an opportunity to improve x skill.
Analyse conditioned games - condition
It is important to consider the condition of the game. It must be a conditioned that forces performers to work on their developmental needs. As such with more time spent working on these weaknesses they will work harder and see greater improvements in their skill.
Evaluate conditioned games - feedback
Conditioned games were good because my coach was able to provide us with very detailed feedback on our performance in X factor . This meant each of us had a clear idea of what we had to improve upon in the games which lead to us all improving X factor having x effect.
Evaluate conditioned games - short term goal
It was good because my teacher was able to set each player a specific short-term goal based on their position. This meant that x position was given a high target to achieve leading them to work harder on x sub factor and subsequent effect on performance.
Evaluate conditioned games - game realistic
Conditioned games are good since they are game realistic. This meant that when playing striker in football (example), I was able to transfer x skill easily from training into my actual performance, which had x improvement on my overall performance.
Evaluate conditioned games - interesting
Conditioned games are good since they are exciting and enjoyable. This meant that when playing cm in a conditioned game of football, I had fun and was motivated to work hard and do my best in the game, allowing me to work at a higher intensity, consequently further improving my performance in X factor having x impact in my overall performance.
