Small membrane bound vesicles formed from the RER containing a cocktail of digestive enzymes.

What are lysosomes used for?
A
To break down unwanted chemicals, toxins, organelles or even whole cells.
So materials can be recycled.

A
A feeding vacuole to digest its contents.
