A
Rex (1986) - leads to social exclusions and worsens the poverty faced by ethnic minorities e.g. being more likely to be in sub-standard accommodation than white people.

What was Wood et al’s study into racism in wider society?
A
Sent 1,000 applications with three fictious applicants from three different ethnic backgrounds - one was white and the other two were ethnic minorities. Only 1 in 16 ethnic applicants got an interview vs 1 in 9 white applications.
