A health care provider distributes fair and equal treatment to every patient
Veracity
Bind the health care provider and the patient in a relationship to tell the truth.
Confidentiality
Requires a health care provider to maintain privacy by not sharing or divulging to a third party privileged patient information. Written authorization for release of information

Transference
Shifting your feeling about a person in your past to another person
Detrimental Dependence
A patient who enters the health care world with a desperate need for dependence on someone else becomes a challenge
Constructive Dependence
When the health professional and patient come together acknowledging that the health professional want to find satisfaction in applying professional skills, and the patient requires the services of a skilled professional.
Sexual Harassment
Unwelcome sexual advances, request for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical conduct including activity that creates a hostile or unwelcome work environment for the person who feels “harassed”.
