What is meant by Protection from Harm?

  • Pps should not be exposed to any more risk than they would be in everyday life. If harm has been caused, pps should be offered counselling as part of the debrief

  • Pps should be made aware of aims, procedure and right to withdrawal before taking part. Alternatives: presumptive, prior general and retrospective consent
