yes, someone with LD is 26 times more likely to have epilepsy

what are the DVLA rules around epilepsy for personal vehicles and HGV/PGV
A
- 1 off seizure: no attack for 6 months for car, 5 years for HGV/PCV
- Epilepsy: no attack for 1 year, or 3 years if attacks are during sleep and awake
- Must be off medication and no epileptic attacks for 10 years to drive HGV/PCV
