Q

what is the process of the ‘lock and key’ hypothesis?

A
  • an enzyme catalase with a section out called an active site, part out is a substance
  • substance called substrate goes in to enzymes to be a full shape ➡️ then allows the reaction to happen
  • reaction breaks the substrate in 2 ➡️ one parties H2O and the other O2
  • this process is then repeated again and again
