What is ADIV in charge of?
All auxiliary equipment: ACE, Steering unit (mechanical only), Galley/mess decks/laundry, anchor windlass, fire pumps, conveyors and trash plant equipment, potable water, LP air, hotel steam
What is EDIV in charge of?
All electrical equipment and systems. Degaussing, SFMG’s and load centers.
What is DC DIV in charge of?
All firefighting related equipment. SYSTEMS: AFFF, Halon, Firemain, Repair Lockers, FLYING SQUAD, List Control
What is RDIV responsible for?
Responsible for the structural and piping repairs. Systems: CHT, FLYING SQUAD
What is Maintenance Division responsible for?
Responsible for ships 3M program, QA and Technical Manual library. Also receive Trouble calls and rescreens them to respective work centers.

What is the CHENG responsible for?
Responsible for all engineering divisions and equipment as well as Damage Control equipment and material condition of readiness
What are the DCC Inport watches?
EDO, EDCPO, EWS, AMO, SSP, LCR
What is the EDO in charge of?
Manages tag out program and supervises departmental tasks. Also assumes damage control efforts in case of casualty.
What is the EDCPO in charge of?
EDO assistant; carries out POD for Engineering personnel
What is the EWS in charge of?
Monitors roving watch standers and controls equipment line-ups.
What is the AMO in charge of?
Monitors AC&R plants
What is the SSP in charge of?
Monitors space temps and takes level readings for voids and tanks
What is the LCR in charge of?
Monitors load centers for grounds and other deficiencies

What is the COW in charge of?
Reports to the CHENG and the EOOW
What is the CAO in charge of?
In charge of watch standers when COW is absent. Monitors all auxiliary watch stations.
What is the DCWS responsible for?
Responsible for SSP watch personnel, ships lair and firemain system. Also reports casualties.
What is the CEW responsible for?
Responsible for LCR watch personnel and load center conditions.
What is the HYPO responsible for?
Responsible for ships steering system, aircraft elevators, deck edge doors and hanger bay divisional doors, anchor windlass, cargo stations, and FAS STA 21.
What is the purpose of degaussing?
Reduce ships magnetic signature
Why is degaussing important?
Reduces ships radar signature
How many degaussing coils are there onboard?

A coil, M coil, FI-QI coils
Why do we use Cathodic Protection?
To protect ships hull and underwater equipment from corrosion
What is the purpose of List Control?
To distribute water port and starboard to level the deck so aircraft can be launched and recovered
