Congenital adrenal hyperplasia, sepsis, surgical removal, Addison disease, adrenal hemorrhage
Causes of secondary adrenal insufficiency
Destroyed or inactivated adrenal gland, ACTH deficiency
Causes of tertiary adrenal insufficiency
Suppression from steroids
Presentation of adrenal crisis
Hypotension, fatigue, vomiting, muscle pain, anorexia, wt loss
To of adrenal insufficiency/ crisis
Glucocorticoids and steroids
S/sx of hyperthyroidism
Nervousness irritability emotional lability excessive appetite weight loss smooth moist skin increased perspiration and heat intolerance
Goiter exopthalmos tachycardia and widened pulse pressure
S/sx of hypothyroidism
Growth retardation diminished physical activity impaired tissue perfusion constipation thick tongue poor muscle tone hoarseness anemia and intellectual disability
