offered a range of advice without bias = aid parties to mutually agree on the decision

offers na impartial insight - enables parties to view the dispute impartiality = fairness
-WDP1: no appeals system In place
may have to use the civil courts anyway = expensive with delays
+P2: chairperson is legally qualified
utilise expertise = increases consistency
+DP2: parties will have more trust in using tribunals
chair[person will understand all the facts and can manage the case effectively
-WDP2: process can be informal
lack of scrutiny and guidelines - not all parties are happy with the outcome of the case

creates greater fairness by giving parties the ability to challenge
