A

one advantage is that employee protection ensures that workers at tesco are treated fairly and safely, for example, all warehouse operative would be paid correctly and given the correct protective uniform to wear, for example, protective boots

one disadvantage is that tesco will have higher costs, when the minimum wage increases, tesco will need to make sure it iis paying its checkout cashiers, shelf stackers etc the minimum wage or they will be breaking the law

tesco have clear policies in place which explain how they treat genders equally. they are one of the top 50 employers for equality. tesco ensure that any promotion of staff, for example to become an assistant store manager does not discriminate against workers on the basis of their gender
