Q

What are the Airstart Warnings? (3)

A

AIRSTART Warnings:

  1. An engine Airstart may take up to 1000ft to complete, do not attempt if height is insufficient.
  2. Repeated Airstart attempts could discharge the battery to a level that would not be able to support essential electrical services.
  3. Thermal changes within the turbine gas producer section may temporarily lock up the engine between 1 and 10 minutes after an in-flight shut down. Attempts to Airstart within this time-period may be unsuccessful but should still be attempted.
