Describe the formation of the Neural tube
- Blastula forms
- Inner cell mass forms bilaminar disc
- Notochord forms, giving the trilminar disc an axis
- Notochord makes the ectoderm thicker and causes an invagination which we call the neural groove
- Neural groove migrates further diwn and separates from the ectoderm, forming the neural tube
What are somites derived from?
The paraxial mesoderm
