A
  • 4 weeks: periderm, basal layer and dermis
  • 16 weeks: keratin layer, granular layer, prickle cell layer, basal layer and dermis. Also, melanocytes migrate from the neural crest to epidermis.
  • 26 weeks: skin is formed with hair follicles, arrector pili muscles, glands, etc.
