Electrics Flashcards
What are normal DC indications?
24 +/- 4V
When power is normal and the BAT switch is placed to off, where does it remove power from?
The battery bus and the switched hot battery bus
When battery is the only source of power and the BAT switch is positioned to off, where does it remove power from?
Battery buss, switched hot battery bus, DC standby bus, Static inverter and AC standby bus.
What normally powers the DC standby bus?
TR’s 1 2 and 3
When is the generator DRIVE amber caution illuminated ?
When low pressure is sensed in the IDG, IDG low oil pressure is caused by one of the following:
- IDG failure / Engine shutdown / Automatic disconnect due high oil temperature or manual disconnect.
How are DC bus 1 and 2 and the DC standby bus normally powered?
By TR1 and TR2
What normally powers the battery bus?
TR3
What is the battery voltage range?
22 - 30V
With a loss of AC transfer bus 1 or the source of power to DC bus 1, what powers the AC and DC standby busses?
The main and auxiliary battery chargers.
With the Standby power switch in AUTO, what will cause automatic switching from normal to alternate power?
If power from EITHER AC transfer bus 1 or DC bus 1 is lost
What is the normal source of power for the DC standby bus?
TR1 2 and 3
The left IRS is powered from?
Normally AC standby bus and in an emergency from the switched hot battery bus
The right IRS is powered from?
The Right transfer bus and in an emergency from the switched hot battery bus for a maximum of 5 minutes
