What types of Circuit Brakers are there?
FCOM DSC 24 10 20 Circuit Brakers (C/B’s)
The aircraft has 2 types of CBs:
* Monitored: when out for more than 1 minute, the C/B TRIPPED warning is triggered on the ECAM.
* Non-monitored
* WTB CBs: non-resettable, preventable by red caps on them.
Which C/Bs can never be re-engaged?
QRH C/B TRIPPED
On ground:
Do not reengage the circuit breaker (C/B) of the fuel pump(s) of any tank. For all other C/B, if the flight crew coordinates the action with maintenance, the flight crew may reengage a tripped C/B, provided that the cause is identified.
In flight:
Do not reengage a circuit breaker (C/B), unless the captain judges it necessary to do so for the safe continuation of the flight. Only one reengagement should be attempted.
What should you do if electrical power supply is interrupted during the engine start process (indicated by loss of DU’s)?
OM B 2.3.8.1 Automatic Engine Start
Abort the start by switching OFF the ENG MASTER. Then perform a 30s dry crank.
