Are human remains allowed on board? What about ashes?
OMA 8.2.2.6 Deceased Passengers
easyJet does not accept human remains for carriage on any routes. The carriage of ashes is permitted, however, provided a copy of the death certificate and the cremation certificate accompanies them. The passenger in possession of the ashes must ensure they are securely packaged in an appropriate container and should include them in their cabin baggage.
Tell me about the carriage of musical instruments, specifically cellos?
CSPM 2.4.9.1 Musical Instruments
Passengers wishing to take larger musical instruments into the cabin must comply with the below:
- Stow in locker – if premium seat purchased (max locker size 30 × 117 × 38 cm), the instrument will be prioritised over large cabin bags if necessary.
- Stow on seat – if ticket purchased for instrument.
Any instrument being stowed on a seat must meet the below requirements:
- Must be in a case and should be pre-boarded.
- Secured in a window seat and not in a restricted seat or seat either side (forward or aft) of an exit row.
- The passenger must sit next to their musical instrument and must secure it to the passenger seat or on the floor of the aircraft immediately in front of a passenger seat with guidance from the cabin crew who will issue an extension seat belt.
- The seat belt (aircraft or extension) must be looped through the carry handle of the instrument.
- The extension seat belt can only be passed around the back of the seat if the seat behind is not occupied by a passenger.
- The instrument must not protrude more than 30 cm above the seat back and must not block oxygen masks from dropping from the PSU.
Cabin crew are responsible for checking that the instrument is secured safely to prevent movement in any direction. If the crew are not satisfied that it is safely and securely stowed it must be offloaded to the hold.
A passenger arrives on a stretcher, can we carry him/her?
OMA 8.2.2.4 Passengers on Stretchers

Which seats are restricted?
CSPM 5.3.1.2 Restricted Seats
Restricted seats are:
- Row 1 A, B, C, D
(On aircraft where there are forward bulkheads at row 1ABC, seats 1A and 1B are not considered as restricted as they do not have direct access to the exit, therefore seats 1C and 1D would be the only restricted seats) - Seats at overwing exit rows
- Last row C, D
Who may NOT sit in restricted seats?
CSPM 2.4.5 Seating Restrictions
The following categories of passengers are among those that are not to be seated in restricted seats:
C – Children and infants under 16 years old (including in car seats and infants on laps)
H – Hearing or sight impairment (substantially blind or deaf to the extent that they might not be able to promptly understand printed or verbal instructions)
I – Inadmissible passengers, deportees, or escorted prisoners
P – Physical or mental disability (obvious disability to the extent that would prevent them from moving quickly or that would prevent them from understanding printed or verbal instructions)
P – Physical size (if because of their size require an extension seatbelt, have difficulty moving quickly or reaching and passing through the adjacent exit)
E – Elderly if frail or sick if frail (if because of their fragility they have difficulty moving quickly)
D – Dogs – Passengers travelling with assistance dogs.
Where would you find a list of dangerous goods, and which can we carry? What if someone turned up on board carrying dangerous goods, what would you do?

Check OM A 9.5 Procedures for Responding to Emergency Situations and OM A 9.6 Incident and accident reports
Fire Extinguishers: What types, how many and long do they last?
CSPM 4.2
QUANTITY: 4 (5 A321)
DURATION: BCF approximately 15 seconds and HAFEX approximately 9-10 seconds
Firearms in the cabin, can you carry them? If so under what circumstances? What about carrying firearms in the cargo hold, what are the limitations?
OMA 9.7.1 Firearms and Explosives:

All passengers intending to travel with firearms or ammunition must ensure they have the required:
Documentation and licences;
Export/import licences; and

OMA 9.7.3 Munitions of War:
The carriage of any weapons or ammunition falling within this definition can only be shipped with the written permission of the Competent Authority. The suitability of the aircraft must be determined by strict compliance with the requirements of the air navigation order.

Do we carry unaccompanied minors? What are the requirements?
Children under 16 years of age cannot travel unless they are accompanied by an adult who is at least 16 years old who will take full responsibility for them.
If a young person is travelling unaccompanied and there is doubt as to their age, crew should ask how old they are to ensure they meet the permitted age to travel alone.
Under no circumstances may another passenger be asked to take responsibility for a child or infant.
If the ground handling Company is unsatisfied with the response the unaccompanied minor and the customer posing as a known individual to the minor will be refused carriage.
