inserts at pisiform bone, hook of hamate and base of 5th metacarpal

palmaris longus (flexor)
originates at medial epicondyle of humerus
inserts at flexor retinaculum and palmer aponeurosis

-inserts at 3rd metacarpal base

divides into 4 at distal forearm, inserting onto extensor hood of each digit
