  1. Cranmer wrote a prayer book that did a way with mass completely and replaced it with the Lord’s supper known as communion.
  2. Radical Protestants were appointed to key church positions.
  3. Edward VI agreed to the 42 articles which endorsed faith alone, that the bible should be followed closely and Catholic ideas such as purgatory and transubstantiation were banned.
  4. Priests began to marry and have families
  5. Congregation receivpved bread and wine rather than just bread.
  6. Gold plates and chalices in church were replaced with simpler objects. Ornate alters with tables.
  7. Priests were renamed ministers and wore black clothes rather than colourful robes
  8. Government confiscated all gold and silver plate which were deemed idolatrous.
