16
Q

who was kett?

A

leader of kett’s rebellion, a normal person

17
Q

what was land enclosure and why was it such an issue?

A

-Normal people would graze their animals on common land
-But in the tudor period, nobles and land owners began to enclose this land for their own to sheep to graze, thus taking it away from normal people using it for farming

18
Q

Why did landowners want to enclose common land?

A

-they could use it to raise sheep for wool, which they could sell
basically all the rich people were buying public land for their sheep to make wool, meaning poor people couldnt keep their animals or grow their food on this land anymore
