All non-living and living things that surround an organism

The group of all of the populations in an ecosystem

A level of classification that identifies the type of animal an organism is
Niche
A job that an organism has to do in its ecosystem
Ecosystem
A place where abiotic and biotic organisms interact
Biome
There are 6 different types of biomes. They are where people and animals live.
Deciduous Forest
We live in the deciduous forest. It has four seasons such as winter, spring, summer, fall. It has color changing leaves when it changes from spring and fall.
Desert
The desert is a biome that lacks water and animal life. It is open and does not have alot of plants.
Grasslands
A grassland is a biome that the main plant is grass. It has large shrubs and trees. There is not much rainfall
Rainforest
Rainforests are big forests that have large trees all around.It gets alot of rainfall and is very damp.
Taiga
The taiga is a sometimes swampy forest. The main tree is called the coniferous tree. The biome is like a regular forest but more swampy and different trees.
Tundra
The tundra is a cold biome. The temperatures are very low and there is not alot of plant life. It can also be known as the cold desert.
Carnivore
A flesh eating animal.
Omnivore
An animal that eats both meat and herbs
Producer
A producer is an organism that makes its energy from the sun
Decomposer
A decomposer is an organism that breaks down the dead things at the last part if the food chain
Consumer
A consumer is an organism that feeds on other organisms in a food chain
Food Chain
A series of organisms that rely on one another to survive
Food Web
Several food chains noisy together
Herbivore
A plant eating animal
