- PHYSICAL Do not have extreme climates, flat land, better rainfall, good for building and farming
- HUMAN Major ports, good trade, more work

what is urbanisation?
- With a growing population, an increasing middle class and the falling need for agricultural workers , people are moving from rural areas to more urban places and big cities

- SOCIAL Hukou system-only get health care in the province they were born, so they leave their children - separation
