Describe exploration under Henry VIII
Henry VIII was uninterested in exploration and made no efforts to build on achievements of Cabot and other Bristol merchants of the time.
Many merchants were unable to win Henry’s support, although Robert Thorne continued his involvement in Iceland and Newfoundland fishery.
What happened to agricultural prices from the 1520s?
From the 1520s, agricultural prices rose significantly. Therefore there was an increase in farming incomes, enhanced in some cases by the process of engrossing.
