the zone of planet earth where life naturally occurs.
What is a biome?
a major life zone of interrelated species bound together by similar climate
What is a ecosystem?
a system made up of a community of animals plants and other organisms
What is a community?
a collection of all ecologically connected species in an area.
What is a population?
a group of organisms of the same species living in the same region.
What are producers?
they make their own food via photosynthese
what is decomposers?
they break down organic matter and release minerals back into the soil
what are scavengers?
consuming refuse and decaying organic matter.
What are the three types of consumers?
Primary, Secondary, Tertiary
What are primary consumers known as?
Herbiovores feasting on plants
What are secondary consumers known as?
carnivores
