how to calcualte rate on ecg?
1) pick a referene point
2) count how many boxes between the start line and an indicatal point
count “300, 150, 100, 75, 50”
to determine AXis
ask if Is QRS positive or negativ in leads____

QRS in lead I is POSITIVE, QRS lead avF is NEGATIVE

Signifies an acute process, ST segment returns to
baseline with time
pathologic Q wave
Old infarcts: significant Q waves (like infarct damage) remain
for a lifetime
if acute, there would be a stemi too
