The middle ear is primarily filled with what?
Air
The primary function of the middle ear is to what?
Mechanical conduction of sound to the fluid filled internal ear
What are the two muscles of the ear and their functions?

What is otitis media?
Infection with inflammation of the ear that results in fluid build-up of the middle ear.
What does the fluid buildup in the ear from otitis media cause?
It puts pressure on the tympanic membrane
What are the common causes of otitis media?
Viral infection
Adenoids
What are 3 symptoms of otitis media?
