study was recalling former class mates

used various memory tasks including recognition of classmates pictures tand matching pictures to names

did remarkably well up to 34 years-better on recongition tasks then recall tasks

dip in performance for all memory tasks at 47 years-dont know if because of ageing factors or the longer duration

shows that LTM duration can last up to many many years
