the dilation of the lacteferous duct is because of the
- relaxation of the muscle
- and periductal mastitis

plasma cell mastitis
because the periductal mastitis contain many plasma cells

1- feel lump under the areola maybe tendernesss
2- nipple discharge is green
3 nipple retraction as slit like in the late stage because of the fibrosis and access formation
Dose duct ectasia is unilateral or bilateral ?
is bilateral and multifocal
whats the differential diagnosis of the duct ectasia ?
breast cancer
whose the most risk group for duct ectasia ?
the smokers because of arterial problem
whats the management of the duct ectasia?
1- stop smoking
2- antibiotic
3- cone excession
what’re the investigations of the duct ectasia ?
TRT ---------------------------------------------- 1- take the drainage as a biopsy 2- ultarasound 3- mammography

its associated with cutover pulmonary tuberculosis
what’re the clinical faeatures of the tuberculus mastitis ?
1- swelling of the Brest with cold abcesse
2 bluish appearance around the skin
3 sinus
4- matted axillary LN in the ipsilateral side

what’re the managements of the tubercles mastitis ?
TRT ----------- -antitibial drugs (PIER) 1-pyrizinmide 2-INH 3-ethambutol 4-rifamoicin
- drainage of the cold abccess Investigation ------------------------- 1- core biobsy 2- frozen biopsy 3- exctional biopsy
