0.4-2.0mg IM/IO/IV, min 2mg max 10mg. IN- half dose per nostril, max 1mL

0.1mg/kg IV/IO/IM every 2min, 2mg max with 0.1mg per kg given after 10m with no response

Naloxone hydrochloride - Narcan: Special Considerations
Pregnancy Safety: Category assist vents prior to admin to avoid sympathetic stimulation. Watch for violent behavior in narcotic addicts. Repeat dosing may be needed. Not beneficial in cardiac arrest
