What’s the difference between ACE inhibitors and ARBs?
A
- ACE inhibitors and ARBs inhibit the renin‐angiotensin system (RAS) but have different sites of action;
- ACE inhibitors inhibit the conversion of angiotensin I to angiotensin II,
- ARBs antagonize receptor binding of angiotensin II to AT1 receptors.
