(Anxiolytic)
Indications: Co-careldopa
Parkinson’s
Indications: Levetiracetan
Focal seizures inc. secondary generalisation

Synaptic vesicle protein 2A (SV2A) inhibition
Mechanism of action: Lorazepam
Increase GABA activity
Adverse drug reactions: Co-careldopa

Anxiety, drowsiness, dizziness (same in all AEDs)
Adverse drug reactions: Lorazepam
Addiction (street value), ataxia, depression, drowsiness, hypotension, muscle weakness, sleep dysfunction, respiratory depression at high doses
Contraindications, Warnings, DDIs: Co-careldopa
Pyridoxine (vitamine B6) - increases peripheral breakdown of levodopa
Many antipsychotics block dopamine receptors causing parkinsonism as a SE
Contraindications, Warnings, DDIs: Levetiracetan
CNS depressants
Contraindications, Warnings, DDIs: Lorazepam
