- tender colon
- radiating pain

A
- bloods
- imaging
- USS: perforation
- CT: to look for free fluid

Test findings?
A
elevated WCC, ESR and CRP

Q
Management?
A
- pharmacological
if mild attack–> ORAL metronidazole and Co-amoxiclav
if severe attack–> IV metronidazole and Co-amoxiclav
- surgery if severe abscess / peritonitis
