A. Disruption of identity, 2 om personality states (posession). discontinuity in sense of self and altered behavior. Observed by others or individ.
B. Recurrent gaps in recall of everyday events.
Dissociative amnesia
A. INability to recall important autobiograph info. Usually of traumatic/stressful nature. Inconsistant w ordinary forgetting
Depersonalization/derealization
A. Presence of persistent experience of depers/dereal
depers: unreality, detachment, outside observer w respect to one’s thought/sensation)
dereal: Unreality w respect to surroundings (objects not real)
B. During these experiences, reality testing remains intact
