A

A. Persistent deficit in social communication and social interaction across multiple contexts. Deficits in:

  • Social emotional reciprocity, like abnormal conversation and respond to social reactions
  • Nonverbal communicative behaviour, like eye contact/understanding gestures/showing facial expressions
  • Deficits in developing, maintaining and understanding relationships. Like difficulty in play or making friends

A

B. Restricted, repetitive patterns of behaviour, interested or activities, manifested by at least two of;

  • Stereotyped/repetitive motor movements: echolalia, lining up toys/flipping objects
  • Insistence on sameness, inflexible adherence to routines or ritualised patterns of (non)verbal behaviour; extreme distress at small changes/transitions, greeting rituals)
  • Highly restricted, fixated interests, abnormal in intensity or focus; strong attachment to unusual objects
  • Hyper- or hyporeactivity to sensory input or unusual interest in sensory aspects of the environment; Indifference to pain, adverse to specific sounds/textures, excessive smelling/touching of objects

With or without accompanying intellectual or language impairment

Associated with known genetic or other medical condition or environmental factor, or with neurodevelopmental, mental or behavioural problem. (coding note with associated other medical condition

ADHD 1.

A

Inattention: 6 or more (5 for 17+) of the following symptoms, persisted for at least 6 months to inconsistent degree w developmental level:

a. often fails to give close attention to details/careless mistakes

b. Often has difficulty sustaining attention to task/play activities

c. Often doesn’t seem to listen when spoken to directly

d. Often doesn’t follow through on instructions/fails to finish work/chores/duties

e. Often has difficulty organising tasks/activity.

f. Often avoids, dislikes or is reluctant to engage in tasks that require sustained mental effort

g. Often loses things necessary for tasks

h. Often easily distracted by extraneous stimuli

i. Often forgetful in daily activities

A

Hyperactivity and impulsivity: 6 or more…

a. Often fidgets with or taps hands/feet or squirms in seat

b. Often leaves seat in situation when remaining seated is expected

c. Runs about or climbs in inappropriate situations (restlessness in adults)

d. Often unable to play/engage in leisure activities quietly

e. Often on the go, acting as if driven by motor (unable to sit still, restless/difficult to keep up with)

f. Often talks excessively

g. Often blurts out answer before a question is completed.

h. Often has difficulty waiting on his/her turn

i. Often interrupts or intrudes on others (butt into convo, using things without permission)
