Outline what muscular dystrophy is, and it’s cause
Muscular dystrophy is a recessive genetic disorder, characterised by a progressive muscle, degeneration and weakness. Muscular dystrophy is caused by an absence of dystrophy, a protein that helps keep muscle cells intact.
What are the symptoms of muscular dystrophy?
Muscle weakness that begins in their hips, pelvis and legs difficulty standing clumsiness force trouble learning to sit independently and walk, unsteady waddling gate, walking on the toes or balls of the feet
