  • Type 1 diabetes occurs when B cells of the pancreas are destroyed and INSULIN CANT BE SYNTHESIZE .
  • Type 2 diabetes occurs when BODY cells are UNABLE TO RESPOND TO INSULIN (insulin resistance).
