Enzymes are chemicals that speed up reactions without being used up in the reaction.
Enzymes act on substrate and breaks it down into a product.
E.x. Substrate =starch, enzymes = amylase (saliva), product = maltose (sugar).

Made in liver to break down fats m

Makes digestive juices which contain enzymes.

Most chemical digestion happens in small intestine.

Physical Digestion happens in the mouth with teeth and stomach (churning)
