Indications for use
Mild – mod pain, analgesic
MOA
inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis by inhibiting cyclooxygenase-1 (COX-1) and cyclooxygenase-2 (COX-2) leads to decrease of prostaglandin precursor

Analgesic, anti-inflammatory
Pharmacokinetics (way of administration, metabolism, elimination, T1/2)
Oral, IM, rectal, topical gel, ophthalmic preparation, time 2h, liver, urine
Overdose effects
hepatoxicity, dizziness, headache
Side effects
nausea, vomiting, headache
Contraindications for use
Hypersensitivity, ulcers, liver failure, heart failure
Drug interactions
Decrease effect of ACE & betablockers
Interactions with products (meal), drinks
No effect

2,3 mg/ kg day

Overdose treatment
gastric lavage, administration of activated carbon, symptomatic therapy aimed at eliminating increasedblood pressure, renal dysfunction, convulsions,gastrointestinalirritation , respiratory depression
