Why does anne say she doesn’t have any friends?/ why does she start to write in a diary
She says that she has a loving family but all she thinks about when shes with her ‘friends’ is to have a good time. She yearns for a true friend. All she does is talk about ordinary everyday things with her friends and they dont seem to be getting any closer. This is why she wants her diary to be her friend.
Why does anne feel writing is a strange experience for someone like her?
She says the not only has she never write before but no one would be interested in the musings of a thirteen yr old school girl. There is some irony in this statement
