What is the irony in this ch?
He doubted the integrity and honesty in the post office employees. Sometimes You are not appreciated for being generous and for the things you do for others. In reality the post office employees gathered whatever they could gather and gave it to him. Something is better than nothing.
Why did Lencho become angry?
he postmaster appeared to give him only 70 pesos as it was impossible for him to gather all of the money demanded. When Lencho opened the envelope he became angry that he had not received all of the money. He believed that god could not make a mistake and blamed the office employees
Why did the postmaster send money? Why did he sign God
He gave part of his salary of the kindness of his heart. He knew this man had unshakable faith in god and therefore did not want to break it. he was moved by lenchos faith and the letter
Explain God
Eyes cld see everything…even in ones deep conscience
What happened when the hailstorm kicked in?
Crop destroyed… field was white in colour…flowers gone from plants….All their work for nothing
Why does lencho say these are no raindrops from sky but coins
If it rains heavier good harvest the rain is like coins for them as it promises a good harvest in order to maintain their living.
