A

Low potassium causes shift of hydrogen ions into cells, thus extraceullar acidosis

A

Intestinal loss - D&V, fistula
Renal loss - mineralocorticoid excess, renal tubular disease
Redistribution - insulin, alkalosis

A

Conn’s syndrome - high sodium, low potassium
Excess cortisol
