A
Society sets norms a values (both written and unwritten).
Examples: Laws, social etiquette.
Any behaviour that deviates from these norms is considered abnormal.

Susceptible to abuse.
It is due to changes over time, has been used as an excuse for bullying/mistreatment.
Example: Suffragettes.

Deviance is related to context and degree.
When behaviours are taken out of context, it can get into the way of identifying normal and abnormal.
Example: Wearing a bikini on a beach or in the classroom.
