Subjective Assessment
exclude other pathology early developmental milestons academic performance ADLs parent/teacher screening questionnaires
Objective Assessment
standardised measures motor performance - Movement Battery ABC standardised measures function - COPM, GAS neurological screening AROM/PROM postural control arthropometry strength and endurance vision tactile proprioception
Management
don’t grow out of it - develop coping strategies
consider their personal goals and interests
aim for FUNCTION not normal movement
community based programs
sport involvement - individual sport in a group setting

Task needs to not be too complicated - only focus on one component at a time
Want to maximise participation - strategies for better participation in school
try individual sports to improve fitness, but don’t have to compare self to peers
- not as many tasks as with team sports
