Why it’s bad Malawi isn’t very developed
It is bad Malawi has fewer phone lines and internet users, because it’s difficult for businesses and companies to develop further without people using it.
What is globalisation
Globalisation means the ways in which countries have become increasingly connected to each other. This could be to do with the increased spread of technology.
Clark fisher model
The Clark fisher model shows the primary was a lot of employment in the pre-industrial stage and it dropped in the pre industrial stage. It also shows Malawi was in the pre industrial stage, Vietnam was industrial and post-industrial was UK and US.
Large scale development
Large scale development is called top-down aid it’s usually given to the Government of the developing country, to spend on what they need it can lead to mis-use of aid money by unfair governments.
Small scale development
Small scale aid projects are called bottom-up aid. These target people most in need of the aid and help them directly, without government influence.
Appropriate technology
Appropriate to what they need to solve a problem designed with consideration.
Intermediate technology
Based on invertions and designs from the developed world but use materials labour and maintenance from developing world.
