Plugging of the follicle with keratin. Causes a vague increasing pigmentation/mottling near the follicle. Predominantly on the posterior upper arm. Associated with each psychosis vulgaris and atopic dermatitis. Usually do not need to treat, but can give emollient or keratolytic
