  • Pimecrolimus 1% and Tar preparations useful for itchy and chronic atopic dermatitis

Tx

A
  1. Azole anti-dandruff shampoo
  2. Referral, add moderate topical corticosteroid
  3. Tar prep- apply at night and wash off with azole shampoo in the morning x2 a week

A

Mineral oil, safflower oil, coconut oil πŸ₯₯

Avoid olive oil or nut oils

  • compounded cream of Salicylic acid 2% + LPC 3% + SULFUR 2% IN aq cream 6 hours on and wash off
